Inviting Team Members

Collaboration is at the heart of Syntrigen. Here's how to build your team.

Invite Methods

Email Invitation

1. Go to Settings > Team Members 2. Click "Invite Members" 3. Enter email addresses (comma-separated for multiple) 4. Select their role 5. Click "Send Invitations"

Invite Link

1. Generate a shareable invite link 2. Set expiration (24 hours, 7 days, or never) 3. Share via email, Slack, or any channel

SSO/Directory Sync

Enterprise customers can sync with: - Google Workspace - Microsoft Azure AD - Okta - OneLogin

Team Roles

Owner

- Full administrative access - Billing management - Cannot be removed

Admin

- Manage team members - Configure workspace settings - Access all products

Member

- Access assigned products - Create and edit content - Invite guests

Guest

- Limited access to specific projects - Cannot invite others - View-only by default

Managing Permissions

Product-Level Access

Control which products each team member can access.

Project-Level Access

Restrict access to specific projects.

Feature-Level Access

Fine-tune permissions for sensitive features like billing or exports.

Best Practices

1. Start with least privilege: Give minimum necessary access 2. Use groups: Create teams for department-wide access 3. Regular audits: Review access quarterly 4. Offboarding process: Remove access promptly when needed

Team Settings

- Default role: Set the default role for new invites - Domain whitelist: Allow anyone with your company email to join - Guest limits: Control how many guests can be invited
